turning photos black and white
One of the best parts of editing is removing color because it gives you a way different perspective to light and how it impacts your shot. I took some of my newly taken photos and tried the silhouette filter in Snapseed for IOS. I think if I knew that I was going to take the shot for the purpose of black and white, I would think before taking the shot because I know some parts won't be visible.

downtown minneapolis in 2 days
I work for a media company and had the opportunity to travel and visit Minnesota for 2 days. It was going to be a good opportunity for me to take some quick pics of a place i've never been. Minneapolis is a city with tall buildings and tunnels that connect each one due to the cold weather during winter...
Sunset photos taken during a walk at sunset
Went for a walk yesterday evening and took a few shots during sunset. It's amazing how lonely the streets are during this pandemic. I noticed however more people are going out for walks. Most of these shots were taken within 20 mins timespan which resulted in different colors as the sun was setting. All were edited using #Snapseed.
Photo editing via snapseed mobile
Editing photos on the iphone has never been easier. many free applications have limits and built in advertisements that limit the features that would make your photos much better.
I never realized how much graffiti there was until I walked around and started really taking a deeper look. For the below gallery, I walked a mere 1/5 a mile on the main boulevard. All shots were edited using snapseed. I hope you enjoy it.
visited Hearst castle in 2009....
Located in San Luis Obispo County, California, Hearst Castle offers amazing architecture and landscape scenery. I visited this landmark more than 10 years ago and took all these photos using a 10 MP camera. I remember walking around and thinking how great the shots were but I never bothered to unearth them until today while going through my Hard Drive. I hope you enjoy this gallery.
